2. Purpose

This Legal Notice governs access to, navigation of and use of the website by-velum.com (hereinafter, the «Website»), owned by PCP LAUNDRY, S.L. (hereinafter, «VELUM», «the Company» or «the Owner»), without prejudice to the Owner's right to modify the presentation, configuration and contents of the Website, as well as the conditions required for its access and/or use.

The purpose of the Website is to provide information about the Company and its textile care and treatment services in the B2B sphere, as well as to facilitate contact with current and potential clients.

3. Terms of use

Access to and/or use of the Website confers the status of user (hereinafter, the «User») and implies full and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions set out in this Legal Notice in the version published at the time of access.

The User undertakes to make appropriate and lawful use of the Website and its contents, in accordance with applicable law, this Legal Notice, public morals, accepted standards of behaviour and public order. In particular, the User agrees to refrain from:

  • Using the contents for unlawful purposes or effects, harmful to the rights and interests of third parties, or that may damage, disable, overload or impair the Website.
  • Introducing or spreading computer viruses or any systems liable to cause damage.
  • Attempting to access, use and/or manipulate the data of the Owner, third-party providers and other Users.
  • Reproducing, copying, distributing, transforming or modifying the contents without the authorisation of the rights holder.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

All the contents of the Website —texts, photographs, graphics, images, icons, technology, software, graphic design, source code, as well as their structure, selection and arrangement— are owned by VELUM or by third parties who have authorised their use, and none of the exploitation rights recognised under applicable law shall be deemed assigned to the User.

The trademarks, trade names and distinctive signs, including most notably the VELUM trademark, are owned by PCP LAUNDRY, S.L. The VELUM trademark is in the process of registration. Its use without the express, written authorisation of the Owner is prohibited.

5. Exclusion of warranties and liability

The Owner does not guarantee the availability and continuity of the operation of the Website and shall not be liable, within the limits of the law, for damages arising from unavailability or access failures, from the interruption of operation or computer failures, nor for damages caused by third parties through unauthorised intrusions. The Owner is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or currency of information that it has not produced itself.

6. Links policy

The Website may contain links to other sites managed by third parties. The Owner assumes no responsibility for such links or for the information, contents or services of the linked sites. Anyone establishing a hyperlink to the Website shall not make false or incorrect statements about the Owner, nor include unlawful contents or contents contrary to accepted standards of behaviour.

The processing of personal data provided through the Website is governed by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the Owner and the User, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, unless the regulations establish a different mandatory jurisdiction (for example, in dealings with consumers).
