Is VELUM a laundry?
No. VELUM is a premium textile care platform built on a renting model. Caring for the textiles is part of the service, but what we deliver is availability: the right textiles, always ready, without you having to own or manage them.
What does «renting-first» mean?
It means you don't buy textiles or tie up capital in them. We supply, maintain and replenish them; you use them and pay to have them always available. Maintenance is the support, not the headline.
Do you work across all of Spain?
Yes. The standard is born in our two owned plants and extends through a nationwide network of approved partners: audited under our protocol and answerable to us, not to you. The result is the same anywhere in the country. Portugal is coming soon.
Can I choose the fabric and the finish?
Entirely. We don't work from a fixed catalogue: we choose fabric, weight and finish to suit your brand and your segment.
What happens if I need more textiles in peak season?
We plan for it with you. We adjust your live stock to your peaks so you never run short and never have too much. Predictability, with no nasty surprises.
What's the switch from my current supplier like?
No upheaval. We start up alongside your current supplier and withdraw nothing until the new service is working. The transition is invisible to your operation.
And what if something goes wrong?
We work with safety stock so an unexpected hitch never becomes your problem, and you have a direct phone line, not a voicemail. If something comes up, we sort it out.
